Planting Seeds Deep
We live in a society where youth are pushed aside and left to themselves to find the answers to life. As a result, so many become troubled, confused, and even lost. Our ministry desires to plant seeds of hope and salvation in the hearts of our youth, and show them the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We desire to encourage and build up every youth that come through our doors, as we point them to Jesus through God’s word, intimate worship, and fellowship.
Rooted in Christ
We believe that God has a many plans for every young person on this earth! Therefore we emphasize the need to be ROOTED in Jesus Christ, in order to become a healthy young person (Eph 3:17). We desire to see God move in the lives of each young person in our youth group, and challenge them to go deeper in their relationship with Christ. Our purpose is to inspire our young people, through example, to live out their Christian walk sold out and on fire for Jesus Christ.
Grounded in Love
LOVE IS THE FOUNDATION OF OUR MINISTRY! We believe that all young people desire genuine Love. We also know that Love isn’t just a four letter word, but an everyday commitment to our young people. In order to share the Love of Jesus Christ, we must first show our youth that we care for them…as the old adage says, “They don’t care about how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
Growth
The ultimate goal of our Jr. High ministry is to make each student a ROOTED disciple of Jesus Christ, and prepare them for future growth as a young person.
We endeavor to point young people to Christ through
- A dependency on the Holy spirit in all things
- Teaching the bible and applying it to the students’ everyday lives
- Fellowship with one another and time spent together in prayer
- Communion and worship of our Lord
- Activities that draw youth in, and out of casual Christianity
