Prison Ministry

2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Why Go?

Matthew 25:36 "I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." For many prisoners, that cell door closing represents a new beginning, one that may, for the first time, lead them to ask who am I, and where am I going?

Let's face it, "God either caused them or allowed them to be there. God either wants to talk to them or have them talk to Him or have them talk to someone about Him!"

How do I get started?

First, let us help you confirm your calling by seeking God's wisdom through His word. There are many facets to prison ministry – for every one in the front lines, 7 workers are needed doing preparation and prayer.

What the Future Holds?

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know that thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.

We will gather together on a monthly basis to pray, worship, and participate in seminars, discipleship programs (including pen pal ministry), and other programs offering help to prisoners through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
