Flourish - High School Girl's Bible Study
Every Saturday, starting April 24th.
Not your average girl's Bible study. During the study of the book of Philippians, we will be tackling 10 topics that High School girls actually deal with on a daily basis. A few of them include:
- Relationships
- Your Role in Your Family
- Contentment
- Integrity

 Our Vision
The goal of Straight Up Ministries is to pour the love of Jesus Christ into young people that they may grow up to be mature Christians who can make an impact in this fallen world.
Our Focus
Straight Up Youth Ministries teaches our youth to “Go Deeper, to Get Higher.” We place great emphasis on teaching the Word of God, and “Speaking the truth in love” (Eph 4:15). As a result, our students have the opportunity to experience a dynamic relationship with God in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.
Our Structure
Our Sunday morning worship services are grounded in verse by verse teaching through the books of the Bible with personal application relevant to the lives of young people. Our Wednesday evening service is more in depth and personal, emphasizing intimate worship with God; and a devotional teaching which prompts self-examination.
Our Work
In response to the Great Commission we are constantly looking to recruit, equip, lead, and develop disciples from the student body at Calvary Worship Center, so that we can raise up the next generation for Christ.
Our Outreach
Currently we are focusing our attention on building a strong foundation, thus relationships with our youth are being developed (our Jerusalem). Once the foundation is firm, we will focus on local outreach to impact our community (Judea), and then move outward (Missions).
The events and outreaches that we promote give our student’s the opportunity to reach out to their friends and neighbors in the community with the love of Jesus Christ.
Our future short term missions are designed to awaken a larger sense of vision and meaning within our day to day lives, as we reach beyond cultural and language barriers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (the uttermost parts of the earth). Those would step out in faith in this arena will learn an even greater understanding of Leadership, Discipleship, Servanthood, and Accountability with others which coincides with a biblical worldview.
