Women's Ministry provides
The atmosphere for this type of nurturing. We are women ministering to other women through Bible study and other gatherings.

Vision for Women's Ministry
There are three stages of growth planned for the women of Calvary Worship Center.

The First Stage
Is to develop women within our church who are bound together in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. This will enable us to love, build up, and support each other through life's journey.

The Second Stage
Is to reflect the role of godly women who seek God's best through prayer and the study of God's Word.

The Third Stage
Of our vision is to build up, support, and show love to our community and beyond. We want to touch women's lives around us, right where they live: single women, single mothers with children, mature aged women, women coming back into society from prison or from addictive behavior, and so on. Our goal is to bring them to the knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

A note from the Womens Retreat - Choosing the Better Part

Dear Norma and the entire Retreat Team – every single one of you!

I can’t even begin to tell you what a wonderful and really blessed time I had this weekend. God must have been overwhelmingly pleased to see so many of his daughters in close, genuine and transparent fellowship this weekend. It’s so difficult to put into the words the multitude of blessings because words just can’t adequately describe the internal workings of the Holy Spirit this weekend! The friendships I already have were deepened; people who I’d met before and WANTED to get to know better – I did and now consider to be real friends - I’m so looking forward to continuing the fellowship with these new friends. Angela’s music was amazing – what a gift the Lord has given her and I pray He blesses her and you guys too for asking her to join us – all I can say is WOW. I was SO moved during the time of worship; not just with her but also (and always) with Letra! My breakout sessions (Choosing to make your house a home and Laying down your Isaac) were GREAT and I wished that we had a couple of hours for each one because we could have gone on and on – the leaders were great.

And can I just say that Dave the Horn Guy was amazing! The variety show was super duper!

Every retreat is a blessing, I know, but this one was extra special – for me anyway. I hope that you are blessed ten-fold for the effort you put into making sure it was a blessing for us.

Oh- one last thing – thank you SO much for the gift of soap and lotion. It’s truly wonderful. I was thinking to myself you could make a whole business from just those two products – the lather is incredible and the lotion actually moisturized my skin OVER NIGHT – I was still silky the next morning!!! (That never is the case with lotions for me!!!). Thank you also to the team that put together the baskets and baked the cookies – what a sweet (literally and figuratively speaking) thing to do for us.

I could go on and on and again – I just don’t have the words to rightly express just how much this retreat meant to me and to my Mom too who just moved here from AR and is looking for a church home and for friends. So thank you thank you thank you and a BIG virtual hug to all of you. I praise God for you all.

With sincerest love,

Your Sister in Christ,
MZ
